MANDATE

The aim of CULTURAL HORIZONS is to instill an appreciation for the diversity of the human experience by promoting excellence in the teaching and presentation of art from all cultures. This involves presenting artistic educational performances that would enhance and improve the public's understanding, aesthetic appreciation and respect for all forms of cultural expression.

ACTIVITIES

The aims of CULTURAL HORIZONS will be promoted through:

Presentations (performances, lectures, exhibitions, films) of unusual or little-known arts in Canada, with emphasis on those originating from India and other non-european cultures through:

artistic presentations

education through dance

publishing of educational material to supplement the artistic presentations

documentation of educational presentations
